HiFive AI Secures Seed Funding to Scale AI-First Recruitment Across India

The round and what it enables

HiFive AI has closed a $4.2M seed round led by Stellaris Venture Partners with participation from Acko Ventures and several angel investors from the HR technology space. The funding values the company at $18M pre-money and provides 24 months of runway to scale our AI-first recruitment platform across India.

The capital will be deployed across three priorities. First, expanding our AI research team from 8 to 22 engineers, with a focus on multilingual NLP and domain-specific hiring models. Second, scaling our sales and customer success teams to support 500+ enterprise customers by end of 2026. Third, building compliance automation for all 28 Indian states and 8 union territories, including automated PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax management.

The roadmap: what we are building next

The seed funding unlocks three major product initiatives. The AI Interview Copilot, launching in August 2025, provides real-time interview assistance, question generation, and structured candidate scoring. The Compliance Engine, launching in Q4 2025, automates end-to-end payroll compliance for Indian companies, replacing manual reconciliation with real-time regulatory monitoring. The Talent Intelligence Platform, launching in Q1 2026, provides market-level analytics on hiring velocity, compensation benchmarks, and candidate supply by region and role.
